Hi guys, I've got a problem with my apad (moonse e7001 rockchip2808 with a red LED batch 3 , black front, black plastic back, 9V changer)I can't start wifi. when I press "turn on" it says "unable to start wifi"exactly the same issue is here YouTube - my apad blue led with 7--inch-IPAD-hourong-7-3The problem is that I can't send it back and ask for a refund so I have to deal with it . I want to disassemble it to see if there's smth wrong inside. I just don't know where wifi is. any suggestions? HELP!

are you using the original firmware or custom rom?

it came with the original one then I flashed custom... the same

it seem like the rom you flash it with doesn't have necessary files for your wifi to start..try to flash with different rom first before you open the apad..there is nothing you could do inside the apad, the wifi ic just a square 1cmx1cm with metal cover and samsung written on top..but if you open it, try to look whether its samsung or other..if other brand that could be the reason as well

i've already flashed. no changes, everything's the same, also tried reseteven tried firmwares for batch 2 (5.1, 5.2, 6.0 (beta)) but had issues with the touch screenyou think that the problem is in software not hardware, don't you?

Which ones have you tried flashing? Try these, Support - The Tablet Store, specifically type 1 and type 2 since they have different wifi drivers.

yes i think its software driver problem..first thing to check before hardware..

Yes I know.. but you are using bootloader version 3.20 so any of those firmwares should work, especially if you've already tried flashing various custom roms.

RED 5.1 - lite | 5.1 - full

(both) - touch screen doesn't seem to work, crashes after pressing the round button

BLUE 5.1 - type2

- touch screen works fine, "unable to start wifi"

BLUE 5.1 - type1

- touch screen works, "unable to start wifi"tried with and without "host mode"

surely, the kernel inside roger rom not compatible with your apad..or it is hardware problem..do you know what build number you have before this?

maybe you could open the apad but being plastic back its hard to open, you need to peel the black cover in front gently..carefully not to damage the touchscreen cable..then remove the screw..once you open it you could find out what are the mainboard number and the wifi module it use..

what else can i do to get internet? will bluetooth work via usb?

Sorry for late reply, the plastic back where you have to open it with a knife..wifi is the only way afaik, usb 3g only few of it supported (ie huawei e220) as sdk have release, just have have to wait for someone make the driver for it..right now usb support mass storage, mouse, keyboard & few 3G adapter..

I had the same problem (unable to start wifi, blue led, 9V)Somewhere I found that the USB Host controller also controls the wifi!!!So to get you wifi working, you switch the Apad on do the following:1. settings2. USB Host3. activate it by ticking the check box4. return to settings5. network settings6. Turn on wifiit will now start the wifi and search for signalsHope it works for you!
