yes it's a known problem...although if you connect it to your computer then it will be in portrait mode.

Is the GE home screen supposed to be locked in landscape..Probably been asked and answered a hundred times but I can't seem to find it.. PS.. the 20 item limit on the search is becoming an issue with the exploding size of the forum..

If you install another home launcher it will rotate. Also, clockworx made another launcher version that will rotate. You should be able to find it in the GE thread.
