As I said your tab isn't atm7029 but atm7029b.

You might try a converter/portable of mine again using
it over 4.22 firmware. It just might do the trick...
(if you can find such, that is...)

Edit:
Cwm's own builder doesn't make a working recovery for you,
even if it would be still operating...

From my archives. One of the early stock recoveries (4.22) for gs702c.
It's for atm7029b but might work in those dual cores too, atm7021?, I don't know...
(It's only a recovery and it doesn't have drivers like touch etc. that
can sometimes cause weird results, but still.. test it at your own risk.)
https://yadi.sk/d/rQc_uDHMePEsd

Extract it and put it to your external sd card and..

Do this using adb (not in recovery mode, boot normally)

adb root
adb shell
mount -t vfat /dev/block/acta /mnt/obb
cd /mnt/sd-ext
cp -f recovery.img /mnt/obb/recovery.img

or if using a terminal app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm

su
mount -t vfat /dev/block/acta /mnt/obb
cd /mnt/sd-ext
cp -f recovery.img /mnt/obb/recovery.img

After that reboot into recovery, and try the CWM portable version.
If you want to try portable TWRP, put your touch module to your sd card as the readme says...

---

If above doesn't work, revert it back by doing:

adb root
adb shell
mount -t vfat /dev/block/acta /mnt/obb
cp -f /mnt/obb/rec_bak.img /mnt/obb/recovery.img

or in the app:

su
mount -t vfat /dev/block/acta /mnt/obb
cp -f /mnt/obb/rec_bak.img /mnt/obb/recovery.img

---

Worked or not report back what happened, thanks!

The installation package has the drivers. Use the latest PAD product tool.

Although all firmwares mentioned probably work fine in this tablet (I have no idea if they do),
I suggest that people flash only those firmwares (etc.) of which they are really really sure that
those are meant for their device. Normally the wrong firmwares (etc.) just don't work, but in some
rare occasions they can do irreversible damage...

I try the recovery's and....

TWRP : don't work, can see the screen but when reboot your tablet is bricked :(

CWM : this one seems to work, you can flash zip files, and make backup's but you can't restore it... :( .... and sometimes it brick the tablet.

How to unbrick, the better method is here:

http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=633760&st=20

1) revealed the tablet
2) Took multimeter
3) Turn on the test mode and DC
4) The tablet via USB stuck in a computer with Linux where virtualke was Windows, but it is better to stick to the computer with Windows.
5) In a computer, it developed as an android with which he can not do anything
6) Open the flasher, have the firmware file
7) One probe set to 17 (ALE), and with him I did not remove the dipstick, hand does not move))
8) The second probe twitched between 13-14 and removed as soon as he saw that the device went to reboot with the first probe 17 which I, as mentioned above will not retract.
9) Once the tablet rebutnulsya he activated the ADFU and proschivalschike he appeared with the inscription Ready
10) Start the fun, click Download (flash)
11) As soon as he did the first pass I Repeat steps 8 and so until not go to record sections and write "Success"
I'm still on the site povishu, so if there are within an hour questions- answer immediately.
Here is the scheme - http://cs3-3.4pda.to/5772920.png
Good luck)

If pin 17 connected to ground 2/23/? doesn't work better use the third option
I mention here http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/108322-enabling-flashingadfu-mode/
The pins in the middle can burn the flash if bad luck, I have read.

About the custom recoveries not working
I have no experience about the kitkat. It probably has something to do with it.
One other thing that might cause it is Actions' quick boot - maybe...

I wouldn't call that bricked, although opening the device is a bit extreme.
Most of the cases adfu etc. works, so I don't know why you have to do it.
But better just not use something that doesn't work. Or use only that part
which works. Have tried restoring just the data partition?

About SD card and partitioning
Again kitkat. It can have a different way it uses SD cards. Some apps like links2sd might help, IDK.
With PAD firmware modify tool you can change the data partition size.

pulso, could you test if this test flash works using stock recovery mode?
https://yadi.sk/d/0NxBVgGefFFwK

If it works it's possible to make the portable recovery zips to work with 7029b kitkat.
(Although kitkat's peculiarities probably will spoil all the fun whatever we try...)

ps: it just says "Hello world", nothing more.
