I just got my new Eken M001 yesterday morning. I'm familiar with Android, having owned several Android phones. I've also been a linux user since 1993....so it all fits well. I found slatedroid while looking for any possible forums that might be discussing this device. In particular, I was looking for any software updates or alternate ROMs that might address some of the bugs in the retail release. I found both here. Yay!
