Hello All,

I have been having some issues with the android market (google play store).

What i had tried:

I have applied a different fingerprint, changed screen density, downgraded to older market versions and all to no avail. I also have tried software fixes, such as the market unlockers (which won't work since they are built for simcard locking methods, while my t9 does not have this limitation)

While I am certainly able to find apk files on the web, it seems that there must be a way to get the market to be truly full. My market has NEVER been able to even find facebook, skype, etc. It's a damn shame.

Since the update to google play store the message i get now is "your device isn't compatible with this item" which i understand to mean that the google server recognizes my tablet as some generic no-name and as such prevents the install of certain apps.

*SOLVED*

Alright, so after what felt like a million fingerprints and screen density combinations, and android market versions, I have finally arrived at a potentially "full" market. Keep in mind this tutorial will delete your existing market application and replace it with an older version. Also your market will not update to the new Google Play Market.

Here is what you need to do, step by step:

Start with a freshly restarted tablet. Don't open market or anything. Just let the system load and get to work.

1. First using your favorite root text editor (root explorer, or whatever), replace whatever you have with the following in your build.prop.
BACK UP THE ORIGINAL BUILD PROP IN CASE THIS SCREWS YOUR THINGS UP.

Code:
<br />
ro.product.model=GT-I9100<br />
ro.product.brand=samsung<br />
ro.product.name=GT-I9100<br />
and

Code:
<br />
ro.build.description=GT-I9100-user 2.3.4 GINGERBREAD XXKH3 release-keys<br />
ro.build.fingerprint=samsung/GT-I9100:2.3.4/GINGERBREAD/XXKH3:user/release-keys<br />
and

Code:
<br />
ro.sf.lcd_density=160<br />
2. Save the newly edited build prop.

3. Now with Root Explorer, navigate to /system/apps and delete your market.apk or vending.apk and your market updater.apk.

4. Now you are marketless. Restart your tablet.

5. Download the two files I have included here
Code:

[URL=http://www.mediafire.com/]http://www.mediafire.com/[/URL]?eyhkb656mgucty0<br />
6. Copy the two files above in the /system/app location

7. Restart tablet

8. Start your market. Fingers crossed, it should work just fine and you should be able to find MOST applications/games.

Glad it worked for you. I have an iFound, Founder, Chinese tablet 4.0 and it came with Market Enabler installed and the Market. I tried to download Voxer, Instagram, Facebook for Android, etc and its not compatible with my device. Are there any fingerprint codes that I can try so that this will work? I tried one code already from MrTasselhoff's youtube video, but it didn't work and he suggeseted that there were more:
