Is there a free GPS software you can download and use with the tablet ? If yes, can someone put a direct link where i can download the apk files and where to download european maps ?thanks a lot.

Hi, i stil didn't reive my tablet so you are saying there is already a gps software on the tablet ? does it work if you don't have internet connection ?

Edit : on the interent i read that Google Navigation cannot get data without an internet connection, so it's not a true GPS software like motonav for example, i need to know if there is a real free GPS software...

There is no free automobile navigation software for android only pay. A mod called brut maps for google lets you cache the maps to sd.Maverick lite will let u add maps and navigate on foot, bike off-road. Check torrents for motonav and appropriate maps. Until Googlelets you buy this stuff you may have to find alternative sources.

got igo to dload and instal, cant find maps etc (content) that works and can be downloaded, apoligies but i dont use torrents, and cant find normal dowwnload, anyone have ideas where to get content (maps etc) that needs to be copied to card

I use motonav for mine, it works quite well. AndNav2 is coming soon, supposed to be free and will allow the use of maps on the sdcard.

It seems like its using online maps, but they flash constantly like they're having problems loading.

what about? RMaps freeware download for Android phonesI haven't tried it yet, no GPS enabled tablet ATM anyways, but it came up in another discussion wrt the value of a GPS in a tablet.Actually started off from here:gps Android Freeware. Demonoid.com is hosting torrent files for igo8 android and map pack for whole worldyou should get good speeds, if new to torrents use utorrent client.
