is flashing the ROM same as using the reset ? afte flashing does it return the PDN to tis original e-reader? I am still sorting things out but have had no issues with any of the hack instructions ( a few apps did not install ). If I flash the ROM and use one of the fw /hack packages that i have seen on these forums will that pretty much get me back to where i am now except with updates on both ends?thanx for all the help this is a blast

Think of the reset switch as the equivalent of turning the unit off and back on.. not the same as a flash.. A flash actually places files on the PDN.. the stock firmware flash will take it back to stock conditions.

follow the instructions (Option 2) for flashing new firmware on the Pandigital site Pandigital » Downloads -- Pandigital Novel eReadersLeave the file zipped and place on an SD card.. then follow the instructions.
