So what's your verdict so far? Should I use the official firmware update or go right to this one?Any advantages? Any disadvantages?Thanks!

Any disadvantages?Thanks![/quote]I honestly haven't found any real advantages....accept for the fact that the crap is gone.Go for it...it's easy.....

I think the only advantage is it leaves you with more memory so if you're running many programs your performance might be a bit better.I believe this one was really done as a test to get things started - we're all rooting (no pun intended) for more to come.

yeah, I cant figure out why those icons stay there? I searched everywhere for the dang files that do that but i can find anything XP

Ecotox,To clean-up the icon on the desktop, install this application on y http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/your pc and open /data/data/com.andriod.launcher/datatbases/launcher.db and remove the icon link.[quote author=ECOTOX link=topic=62.msg824#msg824 date=1274122736]yeah, I cant figure out why those icons stay there? I dont have the device, if i did I'd be doing alot of work on the device to fix issues aswell. Right now I'm doin alot of guesswork, once I get the device there wont be anymore experimental releases, only stable. My device right now is someewhere in between my house and chine, idk where XP they arent updateing my status anymore
