Hi folks,I purchased this device today directly from SEG Electronics Market, Shenzhen. When I put this device for first charging the red charging light started glowing. It has not turned off despite 5 hours of charging. Does the first charging take that long? The battery was 40% charged when I got it. I have begun to think that the device is not charging properly and hence the red charging light is on. Should it turn off if the battery is completely charged?Appreciate your help on this.Regards,KS

check the battery reading, if you go into settings mid information or something like that it shows the current charge of the battery. I think my first charge took over 5 hours and the red light does switch off when its 100% unless it defective of course can never be sure with these devices

First time can take up to 10 hours. After that you'll be fine with 4 hours.

When I first unboxed mine it had some charge in it when I stuck it on charge. It was on charge for around 2 or 3 hours and when I checked it the battery said 100% but the red light was still on! I unplugged it and it ran for nearly 5 hours before needing another charge...... I dont understand the whole 10 hours first charge thing......Surely these batteries will have been cycled prior to being bought and stuck in these devices?? I remember reading about cycling of batteries a while back and it said that as long as you cycle the battery (fully charge then drain it fully without using it) every couple of months or so the cells will stay active for a longer period of time!That said, I have had batteries fail within a few months before now, so who knows........I guess it is better to be safe than sorry?
