A notice on the Pandigital website says the Holiday rush to update/get firmware basically crashed their servers. It was posted 12/26 and suggested they would be back up in a day but servers are still down.

Actually, they're not down - they've locked out the directories so people can't browse to see what firmware is available. If you know the full link to the firmware file, you can still download it.

Hint: Google "site:mirror.support.pandigital.net R70A200" (or whatever model FW you're looking for), then look at the cached link Google provides. You can click on one of the files (as long as it doesn't say .archive at the end) and the download will run fine. If it doesn't work, it's because they've added a new version of the firmware in that directory and removed the old one, and Google can't cache the latest directory because they're locked out too. You can copy the link and change the filename to a newer date (take your best guess) and try again and you might get lucky.

Kairnage can u tell me how to use the kitchen mod for the nova?
You will need to edit the default.prop and change the 0s to 1s.

You need to go here http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ and watch the video tutorial. Once you have the files you need to use ADB to push the files to your tablet or copy them to sd and move them manually. The Supernova won't flash from zip.

The supernova does have a recovery console and can flash a zip.
That was posted before we knew it had one, and it still won;t flash a gapps or UOT zip.
