Firmware Hosting Site ( calling all fimrware modders and developers)

I have noticed that most people are hosting their files on Media or Rapid, I would like to ask all SLD members to begin hosting with ATF instead and below are the reasons

1. We only host firmware, Not movies and music, or what could be considered illegal content
2. No countdown to download files
3. If you are a developer we encourage you to use your paypal link ( try it you will see why)
4. We are 100% forum friendly , once your file is uploaded. It will create a hotlink for you to post wherever you like
and we always refer the down-loader back to the original forum for support.

SO if you have some firmware sitting around taking up space why not give us a try

That seems to be a good start for to keep all FW's together.

On the other hand, Mediafire or even Rapidshare or may other file hosters will be still useful for Non-Firmware files. Seems to be that those ATF Site will allow Firmware's only, so there's still the need for other hosters.

Great idea! Especially after one of those file hosting services just got raided and sorta bit the dust as a result. Good to have something that is legal so we know that firmware, etc. will not go away anytime soon. Thank you for this!

thanks guys its alot of work , but worth it
and we have added a section for firmware tools since i have noticed that alot of new tablets require a program to install the custom or upgraded firmware

Got started uploading my FrankenTAB ROM versions last night. I will continue working with you guys to improve the site any way I can.

How is someone supposed to register?
Does not accept email/pwd used here, cannot find REGISTER button. Hidden? Easter Egg?

When you click the "upload" button on the top of the main page, it'll give you the registration box to register.

Any idea when ATF will be fixed? It's been a couple of months now since I haven't been able to upload anything, and now even the webpage won't load correctly...

Can you tell me how to upload software successfully? Before, right after selecting the file, it would start uploading, then you had to wait for it to finish uploading and click on submit.... Now it doesn't upload till you hit submit, but even after it finishes uploading, nothing happens, or it refreshes and says "Please upload a firmware file!".... Thanks in advanced....

I have the same problem and have already submit the issue.

so working with a new dev he had to recode the upload feature so the status bar
is not working at the moment
but all else appears to be fine

What about adding a fuzzy search algorithm? At the moment it's a bit tricky to find firmwares for the Ainol Fire/Flame/Burning.
Sorting by Model name is a good start, but e.g. "Novo 7" is different from "Novo7". Substring searches should be possible at least.
(BTW I didn't find any Fire firmware

Question I have a few firmware files I want to swap to ATF including some new stuff. Should I be using the old ATF or the new ATF site or does it matter. I just registered on the new side.
