I have found a simple solution for installing apps from the Novel after getting a few basic apps (PandaHome, button hack, etc.) on the traditional way (ADB install):

Install Dropbox app via ADB
Download all the APK files you want from the various sources and put them in your Dropbox folder
Open Dropbox app on Novel and navigate to your folder with APK files
Click on APK to install
If you appreciate and enjoy all the stuff I have posted and don't yet have a Dropbox account, please use my referral link so we both get extra free space: https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTgxNjk3MDg5 :)I have been using my Dropbox account like my own personal Android Marketplace!

Also, for those that already have a bunch of apps on their Novel (or Android phone), this is a great way to upload APKs for folks that request an app. You can use one of the app backup programs (such as AppMonster) to backup the app's apk file to your SD card and upload it directly to your public Dropbox folder and create a public link to share in the forum!

x2 - this is a great idea and thanks! + rep for you!I've been using my netbook to do this, as my XP VM doesn't seem to work with the traditional way (I'm an Ubuntu user). This will make my life a lot easier.

Thanks to those of you that signed up for Dropbox through my link above. I hope you are enjoying your new personal Marketplace for Android!Just a note, if you signed up, please be sure to install Dropbox on your PC and not just use the web interface as it never completes the referral that way. Also, as an aside, the functionality you get from Dropbox installed on the PC is just amazing. I had always heard good things about it, but since getting the Novel, I have been using it like crazy. Before coming up with the pseudo-marketplace idea, I was using it as my default location for the ADB and drivers so I could run around with my Novel and install apps from all my computers.PS - I don't work for Dropbox, just became a huge fan because of what it's allowing me to do with this device!
