The major change for 1.2.2 is wifi TXpower set to 20 from 100, also its been reported that it solves the 'demo version expired' lock out.When I get home again I will find the rest and also look at a new revision.
Changing the TXpower should do several things. It'll stop the WiFi stick getting so hot, which should in turn increase battery life somewhat. It may also increase your signal, as increasing the power also decreases the signal-noise ratio, meaning the signal will be poor. There is a sweet spot to find, and I'm not sure whether it has been tested very thouroughly, but it definitely seems to help.
I did before I went in to hospital adjust it to 25 and that seemed to be more stable at the same distance from my router I normally sit and work, so there is still a bit of tweaking to be done but Im thinking that the 20-30 range would suit the majority of users if needed tweak to suit.

Our version doe not include all the Chinese rubbish that normally comes installed, instead we have installed applications that work for the UK market. as of 20/08/2010 our software now includes the following brilliant e-book applications:-ALDIKO - Considered one of the best e-book readers for androidKINDLE - this is probably one of the best known e-book readers developed by Amazon (Buy and read directly on the Device)What a load of crap !
OK, the version of Vestinious you want is not 1.2.2 but the redux version, that version has skype etc.

Ive been in contact with the seller and they based their version of the firmware on my 1.2.2 and added to it.They will be updating their listing to say based on Vestinious 1.2.2 which Im very happy about.
