In order to tap the market for Windows users, the Finland-based Rovio mobile has extended its popular puzzle video game, Angry Birds to Windows platform, which previously only available through Intel AppUp platform. Angry birds is one of the most popular games features challenging physics-based demolition gameplay that require logic, skill and brute force to destroy the enemy (pigs) on the fields.

Currently, there are two versions of Angry birds for Windows platform, Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio are officially available at Angry Birds PC Shop. Users who interested to install this puzzle video game into their PCs can download the demo version from Angry Birds PC Shop.

Note that Angry Birds for PC is not free, with each game costs $4.95. What you download is simply a demo version limited number of levels to entire to purchase the activation code to unlock full game. Alternatively, you can play web-based Angry Birds for free in any web browser, PC or otherwise.

i beleive that angry birds should only be based on the android systems. apple has there stuff and windows has theres. we cant use xbox live on out tablet so why should windows get angry birds. they all have there differences and similitaries

Microsoft is a different "game".

Apple is an solo player to use such words, while Microsoft is open for nearly everything, include Android. You could work with Android on an PC but NOT on an Apple!!

Man, I hated this game on my phone and tablet, I guess I'll hate it on my WIndows too !
It's a very simple and basic game Noting fancy, nothing ground breaking, there are tons of older similar games.
I can't begin to comprehend why do people like this game.

It's an individual choice of anybody to like or dislike something! Nobody force you top play it!

I downloaded both angry birds and angry birds rio. I have win xp pro and its runs very sluggish. I have trouble getting the curser to go where it needs to be. any suggestions?

I never try on XP because i avoid XP for a long time already, to many problems!

But you'll need a good Graphic Card and also some memory for the PC Version!
