Im just wondering if any of you lovely people on here have the gpad g10? ive been looking at all the different pads on here and wits a81e was almost my final choice, but it seems too unfinished so now casting my eye towards the gpad g10, video's ive seen make it seem slow, are in poorly spoken english or are not in depth reviews, does anyone have one and couldthey tell me good and bad?

I ordered a Gpad G10 from Pandawill.com The a81e has better specs then the G10Its actually a better product. The Mp4 nation review made it look good. The G10 is multitouch and seems to bea Moonse e 7002 at least in form factor. The G10 reviews I've seen have it on par with many other pads. 256 mg Ram, Telechip and decent build quality butsomewhat poor battery life. I also have a Moonse e 7001 and it works well with only 128 of Ram and the Rockchip processor. This should be better. The Wits downfall is its firmware but there are some fixes already for problems. Curious about the G10 Check this out: http://www.shanzai.com/index.php/ba...apad-7002-full-review-welcome-to-tablet-1080p
Ive ordered a G10 myself and like you it basically came down to this or the A81-e. There are a couple of reasons why I picked the G10 over the A81-e as, although the A81-e does have the better spec and it does seem to work very smoothly, the A81-e firmware currently struggles with video playback and flash performance. The G10 has multitouch (and being an iPhone user im hooked on pinch to zoom) and from reviews Ive read its also able to playback HD videos (search G10 Gpad on youtube) and also run flash with the correct flash plugin. Plus its cheaper at $170 dollars inc delivery (use voucher code pandawillgift to get a discount) than the A81-e ($199 plus delivery)Gpad G10 review - MID/Tablet PC - Pandawill Forum Powered by our member! - Powered by Discuz!
stelph, yeah those are basically the same reasons for me, ive been checking this site every day and it seems that things with the a81e have slowed down in the sense of firmware progression, I basically want something with a decent processor a recent version of android (not 1.5 or 1.6 etc) for app compatability and if this can already play hd vids properly, is cheaper, and has pinch zoom which always looks cool and has accelerometer if its responsive and snappy I will more than likely get one of these over the a81e just seems more versatile
Well as it turns out it seems ill be getting both the A81-e and the Gpad G10 (as I had asked to cancel the A81-e order I had made as it said it was processing but I was told it was already posted) so ill be able to give you a direct comparison :)I agree that the A81-e development has slowed down, but since the A8 processor is more modern and since it seems quite popular I wouldnt be surprised if it has the better long term potential between the two as custom firmwares get developed.
i have the wiipad its the same as the g10. i like it alot, it works very well. the only problems ive has are that the kindle app crashes and the home button only puts it to sleep. im guessing that they will fix the home button in the nxt firmware update bc it worked before i updated to the newest one. I like it especially after installing adw launcher..made it faster with better interface...it still needs some of the boys here to fix up the firmare then it will really rock. The screen is pretty good also. Hell multitouch camera and telchip well orth what I pad fr it. Man if this thing gets froyo watch out... snding this message on it right now
