Hi I updated firmware to ver 1.1.1 and while it was writing files it hung for about a half hour and power died. The connector was not properly making contact so power went out. Now I tried to power up and all that happens is the power light comes on. Did I just destroy this??Thanks Jimmy

Thank you for reply.sdcard is good and I previously had flashed to Official Eken firmware but it was funky. I had 32bit fat on card put the Script folder on card unzip with 7 zip. There were no files outside of the script folder on 1.1.1I just tried 30 sec on reset button with power on and no screen flicker at all tried holding reset and booting still no life tried reset power off (?). CPR and still no life.Tried button combinations. Is there any file that would boot to system?Jimmy

Tried Holding Button Down while turning on. Left unit on for 24 hours. Did all I could think of but take apart because if I did damage to card by flash then there should be a way to get to data without a teardown. Unless of couse the supplied cable does not work to access the unit.

Thanks Vtpad. Same exact root of Script directory with "script" as name. Right clicked on 1.1.1 file and selected 7zip then exract. Opened file and copied file to 8 gig sd card. Placed script directory on card. Flashed unit by rebooting with sd card inserted. United saw card and started to flash...maybe six lines or so then said writing files... and hung for 45 min or more unit was plugged in but not sure if charger was connected. Light went out.pressed power button and lights came on but no screen. wriggled power cord and red light lit. Unit had previously been charged full.Now like I say left on for 24 hours and nothing tried reset button in all configurations I could think of . Tried keying different button combos and nothing. Cannot get unit to respond with screen. What area would you think be affected by this when flashing. Could the rom chip itself be bad. Which rom tells unit to boot and is it the same as rom we flash? Trying to figure how to force a flash with computer connected???

Yes it is M001. I flashed unit previous with no problem. Card formatted to FAT32. Size of card to 32 gig or 16 gig depending on unit. Otherwise up to 8gig should not matter. booting clean from card so it is something else that went wrong. I unzipped 3 different rom flashes, so now I am doubting myself and wondering if on the 1.1.1 I may have extracted instead of 7zip. I know for sure two were 7zip but 1.1.1 was third and I am so used to winrar I wonder if that happened. Anyway it will not boot at all so it is moot. There may be one of those voltage zapping ROMS that if you mess something up they short out. and donuts to dollars it is all surface mounted.
