Post office tracking said sent 6/1 so I expect it in another week or so.From the stats I'm not expecting a whole lot of performance, but I hope to use it as email., simple web and show my photos.Is this too much to expect?New here and to the android platform. What will an update to Ver 1.7 do for me?

Welcome and congrats on your new purchase. It is my understanding that the m003 has not yet been released ( I could be mistaken so please let me know if you receive it shortly).The eken device is perfect as a MID device so internet browsing, email and photo's are perfect.(As others in the forum have stated the 1A chargers have a high fail rate but that is a separate issue .)

I have other chargers so I'm not too worried on that. Other postings from New M003 users state that it comes with Android 1.7.2 already instead of 1.6. I can hope.

I got it last night. I'm Happy. See postings in M003 Area and Blog area.Ordered on the 29th shipped out on the 1st got here on the 10th. Not bad at all.
