Deadly VIA-Apad

Hello,my power adapter get dead while loading and my apad with a via-chipset get off. After a change of the power adapter the led goers red, but I can't turn the apad on, no reaktion. What can I do now? Is there a chance or ist is damaged wether the led is lightning red while loading the battery?Christian
