Well, those are the most recent Spark EZRoms so they're the right ones.

Try making a backup of boot, system, data within the TWRP backup section then and copy the android folder from sdcard0 to your computer. You may want to copy anything else in sdcard0 that looks like it's needed. Make sure you store the backup on /sdcard in TWRP, not /emmc!

Once this is done use Phoenixsuit to flash your present EZRom again. Try using update first, to see if it fixes the problem. If that doesn't do it then try flashing without formatting. If it won't boot to Android then restore boot, system and data in TWRP then copy the files/folders from your computer back to /sdcard. Make sure you copy these files before you boot into Android or you'll loose some big apps and app settings.

What I think may be happening, is you have some failing sectors in your flash memory in the boot or MRB area. That would explain why it fails later and seams to be getting worse. But that's just a guess!

I did have problems with CM11 and Omni where it got slower and slower so I just used CM 10.2 but I think my newer 4.2.2 is more stable. That's why I recommend you try it. And if you still have the same problem I'd say it's a hardware issue, flash memory being the most likely cause.

There is one very risky option. Use the terminal in TWRP to over write just the MRB using dd. I could send you the MRB file but there doesn't seam to be raw block /dev device for all the flash memory dd would need to write to. So it's probably not possible.

You did ask about bookmarks. If you're using Chrome then it in /data/data/com.android.chrome/app_chrome/Default.

So they are trapped there. Is there any location I could look to extract those? I got the databases folder out. It's got a db file in it and a couple more. Is there a way to open them? Or I need to first flash and restore?

Those files are only needed if you can't get CM11 working and you end up using my rom, or something else. In that case you can copy those files into the same folder using TWRP which will give the same bookmarks you had in CM11. That's all! It has nothing to do with trying to get your CM11 working.

As far as opening the files, there's no need. Just copy them in there if you use another rom.

Man you saved me with your tips and I got those important notes and files I needed.

Now. I have to find at least a workaround for my issues. As we speak the tablet is setup again with a 3gig partition, the CM11 and all the apps I will be needing setup and ready. So the tablet atm is "as I'd like it to be". Is there a way to make an image of that state and save it to the sd card so that when things go downhill again I can use twrp to get the tablet back to the current state and skip a few steps of setting up and maybe a couple of days too? (it takes some time to get the tablet up and running with all the apps ready). Basicaly I want a zip that will flash the tablet through twrp to the current state. I will save it to the sd card and in case of any failure, I'll be able to recover quickly.

You can try the backup feature in TWRP. I can attest to that as I used it to cobble up a system image for my Joypad when Curt helped me get this thing up and running.

Hi, I just bought an Allwinner 31s pumpkinfirex Quadcore 4x4 tablet from amazon and it needs some TLC, especially in the O.S. area, I picked CM and I c that there is a possible mod here for it in these pages / linx some where is its pieces. I do want to follow the Instructions. With that said I have the cm11 spark zip downloaded so far. I am new at loading mods. Any help / more personal direction would be greatly appreciated. On 1 search I did cyanogen mod forum mentioned that Christian was all done is that true bcuz these allwinner /softwinner cheapo tabs need a better os without the Malasyk preloaded software camera and sound. everytime I try to use them now I get a Korean gibberish error. I think the 4k video was a nice touch it opens but I have not tried it on a video yet. It has a 10.1 screen, kitkat 4.4.2,and 4x4 cpu/graphics setup, only 1GB ram which after processes leaves it says about 394mb for video or new processes. it says they have 2GB ram on amazon so make sure u get the right 1 ordered, some r the old version 1 gb and the newer 1s have 2 or more. It is very nice for the price but no updates. I got mostly English settings except for the aforementioned untranslateable Malasyk built in apps. Hello! I Have a Majestic Tab 375 3g. I have just read that * Ployer Momo 20 AU work on Majestic 100. Since my Tab doent work anyway (softaware problems) i wanted to try to install this rom. I have downloaded it and i have it on my sd. When i reboot the Tablet and i enter on sd, there are a lot (10+) files...what i should select? Can you give me an hand? Thanks very much

hah! this is such an old thread. I got my Alinol Allwinner A31 based Tablet stolen back in 2016 but I remember how usefull the community was and what a great experience I had with my 1st ever tablet.
I'm just posting this little post to say "thanks for all the fish". Thank you for all the help, the mods, the roms and the guides.
