At this time, firmware should be installed silently (i.e. in the background) and pushed out by AirTV. The next firmware update is slated for mid-February 2017 (per AirTV tech support) and should give additional abilities such as choosing favorite OTA channels and displaying in the "MyTV" main menu and choosing favorite android apps and including them in the "MyTV" main menu.
