hi!guys just bought a eken m001,considering there were no instructions ,i`m not doing to bad, my problem is i have got the youtube app which works but only in low res, if i try and play it in hq i get a great but frozen picture ,if there is an answer please could it be in a dum dum reply as i am really thick.

Its not you but the software, the latest FW 1.9.1 has an updated version of YouTube and so should fix the problems.

I was in the same boat when I first started buying these. The latest firmware indeed fixes the problem.

I upgraded using the slatedroid rom, now i am stuck at teh logo slatedroid and the device does not go further p[lease help here

completely new to upgrading the firmware on the eken m001 and I need help. i have download slatedroid mercury firmware and vestinous firm ware and unpack it with 7z to 512mb sd card. I format the sd card on my window xp. using fat32, files are copy to root of sd card, and place it in unit with power plugin then turn on the unit. the unit just boot to original os screen. what am I doing wrong.

the unit is running 1.6
kernal 2.6.29
wmt sdk 1.9.1

I try it on a window 7 and xp computer. I use 1gb and 512mg sd card still no luck.just boot to original os.

help!! is there a button combination that needs to be press or a setting on the tablet that need to on?
