* Crystal v1.7 (like Aurora's users, if you have troubles use v1.0.3 as fallback)
* Crystal (new batch) v1.1
* Crystal (third batch**) rc3 (Use this TWRP recovery)

For instructions and bug reports please refer to the elf CM10 thread or the elf AOKP thread (otherwise I'll go insane having to follow too many threads)

** Third batch crystal came with a different bootloader and are sold with a stock rom dated 1212 (12th of december), anyway just to be sure to identify correctly your crystal follow these instructions from flsuperstore

Hey Christian. User benoba has a full backup of the Crystal Batch 3 with the green screen camera issue. I was unable to create a compatibility patch from his files on my first attempt to fix the issue. Would the only files needed for this be in the lib directory or is some of the camera info built into the boot.img as well? If I'm successful I will send the comp patch your way for your ROM's or you can contact benoba for whatever files are necessary.

you dont need any lib, it's the kernel zImage, probably they're using the hi203 camera (like aurora and batch2 crystal) instead of gt2005 (like elf, and crystal batch 1/3)

Thanks, I'll snag the boot.img from him. I'm not great with editing the boot images yet but I'll see what I can do.

Hey, here is a link to the boot.img if you want it for your ROM's. The comp zip I made for Crystal Clear is reported to be working.

Oh the mass confusion....

They need to stick with some uniform parts and use them. If they standardized parts for all of their tablets they would make a lot more money.

Every manufacturer swaps some components in future revisions the problem with then is that they're not able to rule them all with only one kernel...

Just two small things:

1. Did you finish your custom kernel for the Ainol Crystal model (batch 1, I guess) and if so, is it compatible with all versions of your work (CM 10, CM 10.1, PA 2.5 and PA 3.0)? I would love to flash it (using PA 2.5 now, 3.0 was totally laggy at my tab), if it is in final stage.

2. Did you manage to get the camera working on batch 3 with a new comp zip?

Hi, im not sure which compability pack i need to use. Crystal v1.7 or Crystal (new batch) v1.1? What does it mean "new batch" near v1.1? It is for batch 3 like this: Crystal (third batch**) rc3 (Use this TWRP recovery)? I'm sorry, it's not clear for me.

With that Kernel you should probably use 1.7

im using ainol crystal batch 2, cm-10-20121220-UNOFFICIAL-elf2, and crystal_cm10_compatibility-1.1.

Hey Christian, hope you are having a good vacation. There is yet another hardware change on some batch 3 Crystals. I've just been calling it the 50% screen glitch but here is the new comp zip for Crystal Clear that fixes it.

Christian hello how are you, I have a problem and tried to fix it but I have not managed, it happens that a couple of months ago I wanted to update a clone tablet EKEN T02A with A10 allwinner CM9 for you're the best at this so I am writing you please help me!

the tablet is a clone of T02A EKEN 7 inch android 4.0, mutitouch, front camera in the upper right corner, 1 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 x audio, vol (+), vol (-), power, back , home, menu.

The big problem is that the original fimware EKEN T02A works just touch the g sensor does not work or back home keys and menu does not work (they touch), the matter of the keys back, home and menu but got repaired g-sensor ...

- The g-sensor MMA7660
- The touch is ft5x_ts

when typing "lsmod" appears (mma7660 6853 0 - Live 0xbf0c3000)

please help me or give me a hint, Greetings

Today I've installed with using 1.7 and I had problem with camera, rotating screen and battery.
1.1 is good, now everything is ok

Hi Cristian,

I know may be it's a bit out of topic however I really need help. I am trying to adapt CM10 for ainol rainbow 7 (4.1.2) and recently I got touchscreen working using gslX680.ko from stock rom. I tried to do the same with wifi (8188eu.ko) but when I try to insmod it I received invalid arguments. I checked in your roms and could not find CM10 for A13 Allwinner tablets like rainbow. COuld you please help?
