Some users appear to have a device shipped with a firmware version NEWER than the newest on Pandigital's website (one dated July 5, 2010, instead of July 4, 2010). As a rule, you should check to make sure you're getting a newer firmware than the one on your device.On your device go to:settings[click on the right facing blue arrow up top][click on the right facing blue arrow up top again][when on the support icon you will see serial number, etc.][listed there is your firmware version][the first several digits in the firmware version are a date - in my case s10_07_04][s10 means 2010][07 means July][04 is the day in July][this firmware is dated July 4, 2010]As a general rule, unless you're deliberately going backwards, you want a NEWER date when flashing firmware.Hope very, very few people need this message...:p
