I'm guessing the assembly to the M001, in which case no, it is not really possible. It was discovered that the traces on the board were different to some possible development boards which could have been used and thus replacing the CPU DDR2 slot would not have worked. The memory is BGA (ball grid array) which is incredibly hard to de-solder/remove and so it would be nigh impossible to replace the memory chip, although I still think that there is an effort going in in the M001 camp.
