Change your M10 boot animation

MasterX's Custom Boot Anim - Works on any 2.1 or higher device.
http://f.bkcnx.com/m10-firmware/bootanimation.zip -Android Logo with glowing red dot like the droids, then a slatedroid logo.

Prerequisites:
Android SDK
z4root 1.3.0 -(use temporary root)
Working ADB via USB or WiFi ADB

Find a bootanimation.zip you like, or make one if you know how!

Place it in the folder containing adb.exe

Open CMD in your Android SDK folder(where adb.exe is) and do the following:

adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local

adb shell

chmod 777 /data/local/bootanimation.zip

reboot -(type reboot into adb)

There's a problem with the link provide for that MasterX Bootanimation.

Ive tried it but the slatedroid part is cut short top & bottom.

Does the boot animation have to be the exact resolution of the device's screen or can it be smaller?

I'm new and this may a stupid question but aren't most 7" tablets 800x480? so this boot animation is already those dimensions.

My generic 7" tablet is but I was just wondering.
