Hi. After being sent the wrong MID i have ended up with what i am pretty sure is a MID 706 (at least that is what the booklet says) however on the back is written model no PC -710. All info in the booklet is accurate to the actual device. But i don't know the ram or cpu. Anyway, specs from settings are:Model Number: generic, Firmware version: 1.6, Kernel version: 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirty, Build Number: 1.8.2.This model has the rj45 & 2xusb adapter.All functions appear to work okay (Wireless, touchscreen, etc) but there is a chinese version of app market and online video site. I am after a firmware that i can install that will have real google apps and obviously suitable for this MID.Soooo, has anyone got any ideas?

So its a clone of a clone ?, it looks like a flytouch and uses the 1.8.2 FW (which is a clone of the M002 with more RAM).

Ouch! I managed to get a $20 partial refund today from my seller. Thought it was better than paying for it to be sent back and waiting a month to get the M70003 i had ordered. Have you found a decent firmware flash for it?

hey! check this - SKU3980 - - - - APAD MID-710 looks like same model with 1.8.2 buildAnd check this SKU3980I also have PAD with this design (same buttons, ports and holes) BUT with 128M RAM and APPLE sign on back

without any factory numbers.CPU: VIA 8505+ ARM926EJ-SHard Disk: 1GB NAND FlashRAM: 128MBuild: 1.7.4Try to reflash it - hehehe (yes, cant just use it and have lucky life) EKEN 001 and 002 flash it BUT without touchscreen and with hardbuttons bugs (mouse and USB net working)FlyTouch start flashing and stop on "Prepare Filesystem"Any idea about drivers for touchscreen and scriptcmd?

WOW! I got back to work state my device!! HOOORAY!!I use EKEN 1.7.1 first when modify Panda 1.7.3 for 128M scriptcmd and flash it - all working (wifi, screen, buttons). And Now screen very sense

Hallelujah !!! finally someone with the same MID ipad android robot thingy as me !! i been searching and searching for some one with this model, Has anyone found a decent firmware for this? also is anyone having trouble with it? Mine is S**T, hoping a firmware upgrade will resolve most problems. cant even turn this friggin thing on unless the charger is connected, how do i plug this into my PC when it has no USB slots ? can i just put the firmware on SD card and install it that way? Someone please help me, i have no idea how to do this, and i feel i am stuck with this plastic knock off wanna be mobile/pc. any help is much appreciated. thank you.

Hi thewoodiesti have the same one as yours, except that mine is MID710 (according to the manual). and my build number is 1.9 instead of 1.8.2.Same problem, can't access the real google apps and market, only support 3gp and MPEG-4 video (it would be a pain to have to convert all my videos), tried installing youtube.apk but to no avail because it only the video just stuck at an image but the audio goes on as usual (weird)overall the whole system is really slow and it's bugging the hell outta me *shrugs*can anybody provide any information on how to flash it? I was hoping that it would improve things a bit.Is it even possible to flash it to a real working firmware where i can access the google market?

Hi there, I have an aPad with the following identifying numbers:aPad info1.9 710Cu - found upon startupDevice info section in OSMemory size - 128mbModel number - genericKernel version - 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirtyBuild number - 1.9Model # on back - PC - 710Just wondering if the OS can be upgraded, would it be able to take a version of Windows Moble, if anyone has ever got the camera or the bluetooth to work (mine fails), or does anyone have any specs on the gizmo - if I run the number on the back i get no hits. It works well though except for turning off the screen to go into hibernation mode (i have to put it in hibernation manually) and the above-mentioned hardware issues - any help would be appreciated, thanx

Desperately looking for firmware upgrade!! Anybody has any idea?? pls help.....

I have a solution: Resell your Android tablet on eBay and get the one you want. Look for ones with a seller name of "tilismi", he/she's got some really good tablets to boot.If all else fails, chuck it in the bin
