[Hopelessness]

I don't mean just the market here, although I've got the old 'Starting download' problem too, but when trying to install any app, I just get the 'Do you want to install this application' screen repeatedly. I press install, and then it comes back again. This has happened in both Ecotex 1.1.1 and SlateDroid 1.3, and tbh it's getting annoying!Any thoughts? Thanks.

Have you tried launching the .apk file from a the filemanager?The apps are probably in the /sdcard/downloads or /sdcard/SlideME/downloads folders tap on the apk to launch the installer.

Yup, I've tried putting APKs on the localdisk and the SD card, and running them from PK Manager and EStrongs.

Whoops, fixed it. Annoyingly, it means I have to turn off aggressive mode in spare parts (makes the kernel kill stuff sooner, works wonders on the Hero).
