I'm using android 1.7.2. trying to make adb work with winxp. followed the steps in [GUIDE] ADB, Fastboot, and Nandroid for Noobs - xda-developers (steps not meant for flytouch?) So, Idownloaded android-sdk_r06-windows.zip,run SDK Setup.exe to install usb drivers, added adb variable and path to environment, checked usb debugging on the phone.when I connected the phone to pc, it's connected as usb mass storage. so I followed the steps, used USBDeview.exe to uninstall this driver: "File-backed Storage Gadget Linux File-Stor Gadget USB Device". Unpluged phone and re-pluged. it's connected as usb mass storage once again. rebooted both computer and phone, no difference.what am I missing? Do I need to "root" flytouch to use adb? If so, how?
