Well, I guess the basic PDN software, the B&N stuff, is pretty sub-standard, slow, prone to crashing, etc... but the build quality of this unit is wonderful.I don't advise you to try this, but I have now dropped my PDN twice from table height onto a carpeted floor with one of those plastic chair protectors covering the rug. And it just keeps on keepin on. I guess I just have a little dark cloud over me... or I am accident prone, take your pick. To me, this thing seems very sturdy.
