I just tried Freakonomics in pdf format (its the only book format I own other than .cbr) and using the built in pdf reader it did ok. (Once I guessed at which Chinese character to tap on to agree to the ula [it was the one on the left, I think there is a tiger behind the other door]))It was sluggish, when you move from page to page it takes a couple seconds for the page to render. It works both in horizontal and vertical, though it took about 10-12 seconds for it to make the transition. The letters were a little bit pixelated, but I could make out what they were at full screen view. zooming in made it slightly better. While trying to zoom I somehow launched a keyboard, I have no idea what that would be for (I would imagine that my pdf is locked, so that alterations could not be made) and I have no idea how to close the keyboard. When I try to close it a box with six buttons comes up with Chinese characters in each. anything you do while this program is open is VERY slow, but works.
