Does anyone can check if this Android Version can setup a fixed IP Address for WLAN. My provider forbid to use NAT / Routers but offers 5 public IP Addresses, i never found a way to setup IP for the WLAN Adapter in my other MID.SmartQ V7 (or R7 which is based on near similar HW) runs on Linux WinCE or Android 1.6 or 2.1 i never found the trick to setup different IP - the ifconfig command on the Shell did not list the interfaces and /dev/ seems to be locked for a spoof.
Before i buy it as replace for SmartQ V7 MID - can it be used without DHCP ?
