This one takes the cake...(Crappy shipping #1)For two and a half weeks I tracked my shipment using the tracking number provided by the seller. My package arrived on May 18, so at that point I no longer viewed the 'Track & Confirm' page... didn't need to anymore.Well, to my amazement, on May 22 I receive an email that my package was delivered... on that day. I just had to check that out!! I click through only to find that the package I had been tracking arrived in Miami, FL on May 22. I live in Knoxville, TN and had my shipment for five days! So, I investigate. Turns out I hadn't discarded the packing slip and it contained a totally different tracking number than what the seller provided. So I put that number onto the webpage, and guess what!? It gives exact details of correct delivery, even including that my daughter had signed for it. Can you believe that?I had been tracking the wrong package for weeks!!Gee, thanks seller.(Crappy shipping #2)Really bad packing.Eken was shipped in it's original box with only a thin coat of bubble-wrap taped around it. No outer shipping box what-so-ever! No solid protection of any kind. And, the Eken box had been squashed a little. Amazingly, the robust device (said in complete jest) was unharmed and functions with the high precision it is known for (again, said with tongue-in-cheek).I work for a company which packs with one to two outer boxes and I guess I expected the same. After all, I had paid $29.00 for shipping and expected something for it.Any other stories to share?

EBay Seller wellphone.collection - a 960+ positive feedback power seller of electronics. So far so good.I get a good price, and ask for UPS or DHL shipping. He says an extra 25USD for DHL instead of ChinaPost. I pay the extra, then I get told DHL are too busy and cant pick it up for 7 days. I suggest UPS instead, then get told the supplier didn't send enough units and I need to wait a few more days. I say I want a complete refund including the extra 25USD for the shipping. All of a sudden, I have an EMS shipping number and it has apparently shipped. The number doesn't work of course, and so I wait for the next exciting installment of the saga. If the number is not visible on the EMS tracking page tomorrow, a Paypal dispute beckons.....

Try tracking it here http://www.track-trace.com/postEMS tracking number has the same form as Registered Mail (sent via ChinaPost or other country specific post office).I had a similar experience with my seller until he told me the number wasn't an EMS number but was Registered Mail. The EMS website never returns anything but eventually the track trace now shows it both on the ChinaPost site and on the CanadaPost site. If only it would clear customs.

Most shipping problems can be sloved by buying from a us seller..most offer free shipping.A quick check of ebay and amazon will show you most are under 150 bucks now and that is with free shipping and some throw in a 4 gb card !Some send it frist class but most are using prority mail. Also just the mnetion that your gona contest with paypal will get the majority of sellers moving to reslove the problem as they they don want the feedback rating to drop

Yesterday I had the dilemma of ordering an Apad e9000/e909 tablet from a Chinese seller, or getting it from an American ebay seller for $10.00 more. The Chinese seller even promised a quicker shipping date due to the Memorial Day weekend. The cheapskate in me wanted to save the $10 but the practical side won-out and I ordered from the importer in the U.S. I'm sure with the multitude of potential problems from overseas sales, I should have a better overall experience (though I haven't been all that impressed with seller's response so far).

More like Bait and Switch Ordered an apad (China eBay seller) price around $49 and shipping around $59 for 3 day UPS. I didn't expect it to pan out but paid by Paypal with the usual guarantee. They promised a tracking number, but when the item was indicated as shipped on eBay it showed China post. I protested, and they said they could not locate a tracking number for UPS and they could either resend or refund. I asked for and got a prompt refund. On eBay the item still shows as shipped. You know somethin ain't right. I guess I will have open a case to get it cleared.
