I have searched everyplace for any ORPHAN firmware for the MID M70003 and none, people keep referring to the EKEN m003 Firmware but that //DOES NOT WORK// with the MID M70003. I am aware they look exactly alike but when you apply the m003 firmware to the ORPHAN M70003 The buttons don't work and the resolution is wrong. Does anyone have ANY solutions for this, be it a mod, new firmware or the original firmware for the ORPHAN MID M70003? Your help would be GREATLY appreciated! To the mods, I am aware that this might be in the wrong section but I posted here because no one posts in the M003 Section which is still not even my section...

Dear,I just receive my ePad from Ebay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280498607597 ) And use it for 3 hours and then I installed small software that turns LCD off, and you are guessing now. I can not turn it on. Is there any hidden combination of buttons to perform Hard Reset or Soft Reset or I have to flash it. And how to perform flash.---- PLEASE ANY HELP----

@xnorex: You have to set the environment variable to the "original" ones. If you have the backup (before modding it), then put it back (using setenv u-boot command). If you don't have:- check all setenv command in the scriptcmd. Write down all environment name which are overwrite by the scriptcmd (before saveenv command) ...- ask other people with the same gadget (but still work properly), to execute Terminal, and fire the getenv command for all of that environment,- then, use that values in the new setenv u-boot commands ...

@tdgarza: NO, not the original firmware. Just the original environment values (such as ) which is overwritten by the [email protected]: have you try EKEN M001 or EKEN M002 ROM? If your gadget has 800x480, better to use M002 ROM. I have try all of those ROM (M001/M002/M003) in my EKEN-like gadget (800x480), and M002 is the most compatible ones ...
