Are PC keyboards supported via the USB port?

I noticed that sometimes typing with the on screen keyboard is very tedious. Can I attach a PC keyboard instead? If so, how would I customize the keyboard layout (language)?

Hmm, according to the "Cool Keyboard leather case peripheral" thread USB keyboards should work.
[quote name='Tosko;42462]Yes' date=' any USB keyboard will work.[/QUOTE'] ok thanks. On regular Linux the keyboard layout would be configured via X server or via some preferences tools in KDE or Gnome. But how does this work on Android?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot change the keyboard layout in Android. You would have to install other "keyboard applications" on your device.
