It wont help that much. You need to be logged in at the google site

Tips: App Inventor is a Web application that runs in a browser. You'll need to have access to the App Inventor system before you can use it. Installing the App Inventor Extras software and setting up the phone as described on this page is necessary preparation for using the system, but this doesn't in itself provide access to App Inventor. You can request access by visting the App Inventor information page.

Most of app inventor is done in the cloud. The only thing that is downloaded is an extras file. All things are linked to your Gmail account so I doubt this idea will work.

so the tools don't make an apk you can sideload? bummer.

I'm sure the tools make apk files but the inventor itself is cloud. So giving out a program after it is created should be easy enough.

I have access to the inventor...been messing with it for a couple days.finally made a barcode scanner that suits my needs and isn't $9.99.

the inventor packs and compiles your source code into an .apk which can be downloaded to your computer.

sweet! What hole in the PDN you need to turn towards bar code to scan it, then?(just kidding... wish sobebody rewrite our broken Calendar though)
