*sigh*chinagrabber finally updated my status.M16 waiting list - ships July 22... more waiting..

Well I went and sent them an email yesterday saying that if it didn't ship next week, I wanted a full refund. Today I log in to see that it shipped All I have to say is... ABOUT TIME!I honestly do not recommend chinagrabber, they will give you the runaround as long as they can.

Well they haven't given you the runaround syn, they just informed you of the delay each time. That's not even close to a run around. All the other sites just came out with outright bs to cover the fact they didn't even have them. Where as Chinagrabber delivered me the goods and everything they have told me to date has been correct, and looking at what you have said they have been correct. I mean really, one of the few genuine sellers who gives you the goods shouldn't be criticized really.

The three different models I saw at the link hobbytab, are M16 Android 2.1, M16 Windows CE 6.0, and M16+ 3G which runs Android 1.7.4

Well they haven't actually given me the goods yet. The first tracking number they gave me was no good, they changed it to a UPS tracking number a day later. It's been stuck at "billing information received" for the past 3 days now.

The Rom Load on this is pretty rough... drivers a bit funky... even for the basics like TF mem... still trying out a number of apps I have running on my Moto Droid... I really need to get this rooted to be able to approach what I can do on my Droids...

Mine was shipped EMS and I've been waiting 8 days already, it just landed in canada, but its accross the country. Waiting sucks, should've ponied up the extra $20 for UPS or FedEx

Does the M16 seem like it will be easy to root, with all the dev tools/modes on there?

all right now, more than 60 minutes in your hands and no real good review OR pix.in the guitar forums this would be unacceptable.but I guess unlike musicians Androiders have real jobs?j

BTW. one question for both you guys.did you BOTH order from the same seller?alibaba seems like the ebay of china, and if you both recieve your devices and are satisfied that would be great!actually you would be the 1st people I have heard of who ordered from alibaba and got what they wanted.j

Well I received mine today. A lot faster shipping than I was expecting, I'll give 'em that. What I don't like is that they made no effort at all to package it before shipping. It was just the product box (with contents, sans any kind of instructions), taped shut with clear, yellow, and blue tapes. The box is pretty beat up, which is a little disappointing as I like to keep my product boxes in decent shape. I haven't had a chance to power it on yet as it's still charging (arrived with a dead battery, showing a blue light). Will post my impressions when I get the chance.

Well now I'm just plain pissed off.The damn thing is fully charged, and won't power on. When I press the power button, I get a blue LED and a gradient of alternating colors going from one end of the tablet to the other. $300 and a month of waiting well spent. Thank you chinagrabber.

damn that suxs, better email them asap

Mine was only $175 plus shipping from Aliexpress from Emily Wang. It is unbranded, but I don't care about that.
