WCDMA support via USB hosting is already there. They might have room to sneak a module into the device. I don't know electronics, but all it needs is an extra USB connector. That's probably how it will be implemented.

I actually don't know too much either.But if you or someone can convince them that this is an important feature, they will show you guys how to do it. As far as I know, they sell the 3G modems with the Apad as a package with a data plan. I don't use this myself, so I wasn't too keen on asking.

I have no idea what's happening. In conclusion I think its a mess out there and on one should flash anything if you have a 9v charger.
