Apad has no PIN lock

I bought an Apad last week and generally im pleased with it.One of the biggest issues for me is that it doesnt have any PIN lock for security so anyone can turn it on and use it straight away. I have tried lock 2.0 which doesnt work unless i open the app first but refuses to load on start up.Does anyone else have this problem and is there a way to put some sort of security on it? I dont want to put any personal details or add email accounts until its sorted.Thanks.
