No m002 specific roms floating around yet. Roger's vestinious rom is said to run fine on the m002 though. As far as android 2.1 or 2.2, it's not likely to happen any time soon, and even if it does i would count on great performance. If you are interested in creating a source based rom you should look into project gus. He has a git tree with the source he's obtained from VIA. The other option would be a cooked rom starting with an eken 1.9.0 "firmware". Roger could probably give you some pointers on adding and removing applications as well as making some of the configuration changes. There are also some notes in the vestinious thread for how to get swap working on boot.
