I am new with tablets (and Android). I own an Apad iRobot 7" Rockchip 2808 128 Mb RAM (I thought it comes with 256 !, big deception)

I have two questions:

1) What is the most stable firmware for my unit?
2) What is the max OS version of Android supported on my device ?

ROM/RAM: 8Gb/128Mb, 7", 800x480, accelerometer
Wi-Fi, microSD
Front camera, mic, blue light charger, 3300mAh battery

I have a simliar apad bought from china hadnt used it for a while and when I switched it on it showed good resolution for a few minutes but now it has very few colours and a low rsolution would a frimware update sort this out?
