Trial and error gives me this.Start with 800x600 wallpaper(or other 4x3 ratio). Resize to 490x296 then enlarge canvas to 580x700 image centered. See drop.io - slatedroidfan_GT78 for samples.If there is interest I can post Windows program and preset with the wallpapers to do batch conversions.

Too much work! I just create a Wallpaper root folder under the microSDCard Drag all my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit MCT images you can get more and use those as my wallpaper. Gentouch resizing them automatically and TA DA! New WallPaper Centered!

New wallpaper mangled is my result from gentouch resizing. Why can't i put in a 800x480 image and have it display it as a wallpaper w/o messing with it?
