Today I worked just five minutes and suddenly the Eken came with message: error on android.process.acore ... Close and try again. Nothing helps anymore...only when i keep on pushing the home icon from FRING comes up and in between the error messages you can startup Fring but nothing more. Home, or back or what else there is. Nothing reacts..other then the error. Booting doesn't help because after starting up the error comes up.I think to overwrite the firmware with ecotex but still hopes somebody can help me out.Richard

I'm actually having this same issue, which is why I'm looking through all the discussions trying to find a solution that works.I tried putting the system boot data onto a SD card.. it won't install when I boot it in that unit.... so I'm about to send it back...

- you need to download the android development package/tools or ADB (Android debug bridge)- follow the instructions in my thread (not gonna repeat it here) to connect adb to your eken- doubleclick on the ddms.bat file then a window will open and hopefully your eken will ge (as a generic device) be shown.- when you click on it (upper left corner) colored text will appear in the lower panel- mark the last few red lines and Edit/Copy to clipboardthen you can past it here.Maybe it'll help. You could also try my rom which has been reported on running quite well!

The error android.process.acore will need a re-flash of the Firmware. Zerodime's just works well, so may you give it a try?!That I was sign up to this forum was exact about the same error. I had re-flashed the Eken more than 10 times the last few days because I was try to figure out what's triggering the error. From my point of view it's a bad memory management. which could be wrong?!Again, re-flshing the Firmware will solve that problem.

You have to go to settings (by pressing home button or menu) then go to application/manage application/home (you can also do it with PK manager) and then you press "clear data".This worked fine with me! It'll reset your home but you have not to re-flash the M003I hope this could help

You'll need to download the Firmware for your device if you didn't not have them already.Extract the archive and copy the complete Directory script to a Micro-SD Card 32 bit formatted. Place the Micros-SD Card in the Slot of your device and turn the device on. Don't forget to have the Power Adaptor connected while doing that. Do NOT turn off your device until the screen instruction tell's you to remove the Micro-SD card and let the device either reboot or turn off by itself! After that turn on the device and all should be fine. This process is named: re-flashing. Use the right firmware for your device. the firmware for the M002 isn't the same as for the M003 or M001!Good luck.

Getting a similar error message, and have tried upgrading the firmware, but as yet it is not working unfortunately.

my nephew purchased one of these for himself, it's now getting the same error message, seems to be a very common error message, on this form there two options for a fix, update firmware or try user Zerodime rom, I will pass this on to my brother as he has the device, thanks to everyone for the posts and the suggestion on fixes

I know this is an old topic, but if you get a email about this reply can you please post a link to your thread mentioned in this posting, I will try to search for it but it would be easier for us n00bs as we are already upset with the device and some might throw it out the window (don't think they can fly but be nice to see how much damage they could take), thanks for any and all help
