there is internal serial bus connected to uboot console and kernel ring.... i saw a topic around here for that.. take a look

android-serialport-api support?
Hi,I'm trying to find a way to send tx commands / data through the USB connector port on the device. I don't think it is possible to use any of the serial port enabled kernels from http://code.google.com/p/android-serialport-api/downloads/list, but is there something similar?Basically, I will be trying to communicate with a device that has RTU 232 and RS485 ports. I have the hardware to create a converter, I just need to know if there's a way to send data.Thank you

Thanks, I'll check it out.I also found the source code for a serial port api on HTC Dream, I'm going to see if I can edit it to work with EKEN.
