Is there any way to turn off these three icons in 'notification area' on top of the screen -- 'an eye' takin screenshot and volume up/down buttons? They are pretty useless in real life and take pretty huge space, especially in the portrait orientation. I think it can be fixed somewhere in system config files, please nose me where exactly.

No.First, I do not use ADW,and second, i still need 'menu' and 'back' buttons, along with clock and notifications.

I would also like to remove these icons from the notification bar. Anyone know how? I would imagine we would have to modify the framework-res.
