You couldn't just solder one of these in, and if you did it'd probably do something nasty when you plugged in the regular charger.....

Hello at all!I'm a noobish noob on this board, but I like it ;[email protected]:As U can see in Post#17 it's not an expansion slot,even if it seems like, it's more like a connector for another board carrying CPU and RAM.Here is my first question:Has anybody found the internal memory (they call it hdd ;D ) ? I could choose between 2GB and 4GB but me noob ordered the standard version.I'm wondering if they handle it as in my chinese IPhone clone, if you open it you find a micro SD card.If its the same into the slate, would be great!Greetz from Germany to all of you around the world!

How about buy and disassembly two of the battery ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6955&Product_Name=ZIPPY_Flightmax_2500mAh_Transmitter_Pack_%28Futaba/JR%29 )you get build 3P2S, size ~100x84x14 and capacity 7500mA! Interestingly, assembly of this size will fit?

So, if the EKEN balance charger is part of the battery pack, just replacing it with this would probably cause some heat, fire or go-boom. (I've had one go boom on a short circuit and it was something else. You can actually buy "charging bags" for these R/C batteries, made of kevlar I think, for the cautious among us.) If the EKEN has its balance charger on the system board, then it might work. So where is the balance charger, that is the question.

does anyone know where theres instructions on taking the device apart without damagin anything?

[/quote]Ok, just thought there may be a simple sd card inside used as "HDD" .But if not, who cares.

All my apologies : I have relied too much on info provided by a software, and not enough on the good old df command. Sorry for this. There is about 2Gb of storage in the eken. 1.4gb in the localDisk folder, the remaining in some other system folder.
