Sorry I can't give a definitive answer, but I think ad hoc networking is hardware-dependent. So it may be impossible.

thank you. that seems kinda similar to the instructions in the link i posted. but i have another unsure question...does my wits need to be rooted? or flash this rom or can it be how it came shipped?sorry 4 the noob like stuff; android is a whole different ball game compared to win mobile. now its like learning to tweak an hack all over agian.

This custom ROM by MNS is rooted. Once flashed you will have root priviliges.

i got that from the 1st post just wanted to make sure.but that doesnt answer my question 100% so just 4 further clarification...right now im on the shipped 2.2, this rom that was shipped on device is NOT rooted??? am i right on that.thanks agian 4 your help

Last I heard mns was on vacation for quite a while. Turtlehazard has done a great job with his custom rom in the meantime, though I haven't seen one yet for 0831.

Can anyone point me to a site to download that "rotating screen" app? I've looked around for it on the net and even flashed this rom to my a81e just to grab it but it doesn't seem to be in the apps folder with everything else

I'm not sure what link you're talking about but i don't think that the app would be on the witstech site because mns said he added it himselfI may just start a new thread so that people are more likely to reply.

I spoke too soon. There is no link but you were right. The rotating screen app was on the witstech site i just wasn't getting it in my results serch because the site is not in Eng

I found the rotating screen app that i was looking for. I like it better then rotateD because it only has one icon where as rotateD has twoThank you though
