Who bothers to vote "no"...?Like: "It would affect my life significantly and deeply offend me if a dutch forum were created. We must let their language die its own death naturally..." Really?

I voted no. I'm Dutch myself, and I think having a Dutch forum would be counter-productive: First, nearly every Dutchmen is able to read/write English reasonably well and only a small amount of the internet population is Dutch so a Dutch forum would get very little traffic, if any. Second, I think it is important to keep information widely available and encouraging people to write it in such a non-widespread language when it isn't totally necessary doesn't help.In Germany and Spanish-speaking countries, the level of English education seems much less. Also, there are far more Spanish/German speakers than there are Dutch. Consequently, for those languages having a forum generates more information than is made inaccessible by it being in a language not readable to most forum users.

I'm IN the majority of users here... It's a common European joke about Americans. Where they live people travel between countries all the time and are forced to learn several languages. Many Americans never even STUDY a second language, much less travel and use one.
