I downloaded Blazingwolf light modded firmware, after installation tried switching to PD home screen using Home Switcher, received an error application failed, try again or reboot that didn't work reverted back to BW 8-6 version no problems encountered. Is sometime not just right with 8-20 modded version? Also need some clarification: if the forum moves mainly to firmware 2.1... When new versions of the software are released from Pandigital. Do I just open the zip file and delete userdata.img or do I have to also change sometime in the checksum. The reason I am asking this is because of conflicting post on the forum. Thank you for all your help.

To respond to your second question: Don't assume that we'll see anymore firmware updates from Panditigal. The black device is now out, and we now know that the firmware is very different and might even be created by a different vendor. We honestly don't know how long they plan on supporting the white device, which is why my hope is that the devs here can get the 2.1 alpha to a state that it can be used for general consumption.] I hope I'm wrong and that Pandigital keeps supplying updates (inlcuding improved video playback), but we just don't know what their long-term support plan is.
