I tried this morning to use the Update function on my 7-24 flashed Novel and it still didn't work. Tonight, just on a whim, I tried again and IT NOW WORKS! (or at least it did this time...).This leads me to believe that - although the firmware has other issues as reported all over the forums - this one issue may not have been Pandigital's fault and was fixed on the B&N end.Anyone else able to now use the B&N Bookstore Update function who had it broken before?

I'm pretty sure that was a B&N issue. My husband was having similar issues with his EVO.

Ditto.....but it's a shame that it took B&N that long to correct the problem. No info on their website with regard to support for web / ebook issues.

I am wondering if B&N manages the portal or if Pandigital does since it seems to be a custom interface..
