Will it be possible to embed a custom ROM made of 2.1 Android on it? As long as the hardware is good, I think the software can take care of itself (or with the help of a lot of Gurus here, it will eventually be possible)
keep reading that android 2.1 is unstable on the zenithink ZT180' date=' isnt it the same chip as the Cortex A8 in the A81E and W1060? have tried android 2.1 on the W1060 and works fine[/QUOTE'] It's actually not the same as the WiTS A81E--which is clocked at around 720mhz, while the cortex A8 used in the so-called ZT-180 is clocked at 1ghz. The Zenithink should, in theory, be faster. The reviews on the WiTS are pretty solid though and the touchscreen looks nice and responsive. If you prefer a 7" form factor, the WiTS looks to be a solid choice.
just got mine from her' date=' she IS legit.[/QUOTE'] Well, give us a thorough review already. This is not directed at you at all... it is unfortunate that members of this forum ask a lot of questions and worry, and see others with the same questions and worries, and then the last post we see from them is "I got mine". It would be nice if they gave them thorough reviews and let us know if it's worth the money we might fork out.I have one that's supposed to ship from wiipad.us on thurs or fri.
have just sent email to her' date=' as im in sydney, hopefully might be able to do a pick up, if not the shipping should be quick (if the stock is in Sydney) will let you know[/QUOTE'] I read in another thread that her stock is not located in Australia.
